Lynn Howe, Senior Pastor

Lynn Howe has been the Senior Pastor of West Side Baptist Church since 1973. Under his guidance and leadership, God has graciously grown and extended the church and its outreach at home and abroad. His almost 40 years of pastoral experience in one church give him unigue practical insight and wisdom in all matters relating to the church.

Besides his weekly ministry responsibilities, he also makes annual trips to Indonesia to train national pastors. Lynn and his wife, Peggy, have three sons and eight grandchildren.

Mel Gemmill, Associate Pastor

Mel Gemmill has been Associate Pastor at West Side Baptist Church since 2003. His previous experience of more than 30 years, as the solo pastor of churches in Minnesota and Montana, enables him to assist the Senior Pastor in all the various pastoral responsibilities, as well as mentor younger men for church leadership.

He and Senior Pastor Lynn Howe have been close friends for over 45 years. As a prolific reader, Mel has a unique ministry at West Side Baptist Church of reading Christian books and periodically producing reviews, entitled 'Mel's Recommended Reads'. Mel and his wife, LaDonna, particularly enjoy the blessings of their children and grandchildren.

Jonathan Mauger, Associate Pastor

Jonathan Mauger and his family came to West Side Baptist Church in 2010 and joined the staff in April of 2011, after having the spent the previous decade ministering in South Carolina. Jonathan thanks the Lord that he had the privilege to participate in a unique, "outside-the-box" type ministry in South Carolina; a ministry that he credits with teaching him how to see people the way God does.

Jonathan and his wife, Kelsey, have five children and enjoy living near family in Montana, because their family can be involved in two of their passions; ministry and farming. Jonathan and Kelsey hope to be a blessing to their faith family at West Side Baptist Church for years to come.
